The Power of Our Words

I met with our new Director Sheryl Lanham last week. She oozes life and is a joy to be around. Very early into our conversation, she was sharing about the power of our words and the importance of what we speak.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue” Proverbs 18:21

We are all guilty of careless words, and we all have the power to turn those words around to bring life.

I look at the words people speak to us and the way they open their conversations, and I can’t help but see what a privileged position we have at Roaring Hope to hear the raw, the real, and the deep cries of the heart. It comes in ways that may shock some but, to me, it’s an open door to have a precious opportunity to speak life and see lives changed one conversation at a time.

I’d encourage you to take a listen to a 30-minute message that Sheryl shared on Mother’s Day👇🏽.
